Rincon – Sandra Wilson Kinnison, 72, passed away October 15, 2022 at Candler Hospital.

The Sylvania, GA native was retired from Derst Baking Company. Upon retirement she devoted her time to taking care of her grandchildren. She was a wonderful homemaker, being famous for her cole slaw. She was preceded in death by her father, William Henry "Dub" Wilson and mother, Hazel K. "Mickey" Thum.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Kinnison; sons, Thomas (Heather) Howes, and David Kinnison; grandchildren, Christa Verleye, Kyle Kinnison, Gage Kinnison, Sienna Kinnison, Sarah Howes, Eli Howes, and Sydney Howes; two brothers, Mikel Wilson and Tommy Wilson; mother-in-law, Lorene Kinnison of Nebraska; and sisters/brothers-in-law, Vicki & Jerry Thomas, Liz & Tim Maly, and Jean Kinnison; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Memorial service will be 1 pm Friday, October 21, 2022 at Effingham Baptist Church, 1007 N. Columbia Ave., Rincon, GA 31326.
