Sandy Phillips, 68, of Statesboro, Georgia,went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Sandy will tremendously be missed by her husband of 50 years, Berry Phillips; her daughter and son-in-law, Brittany Phillips Wilson (Stephen Wilson, Jr.) her granddaughter, Olivia Wilson; sister, Dale Ashley; sisters-in-law, Melbry Devine (Joey Devine) and Michelle Jarvis (Adam Jarvis), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Sandy was born in Reynolds, Georgia and had lived in Chatham County for a number of years before moving to Bulloch County.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulmer David Cook and Evelyn Glisson Cook and brothers-in-law, Phil Ashley and David Phillips.  Sandy was an incredibly strong Christian and is now with her beloved Jesus.  She had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone.  She was loving and compassionate, a devout wife, mama, nana, and sister.  She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her family.

The visitation will be on Friday, October 31, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Sandy's life will be on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
