Rincon – Sarah Ann Durrence Lowery, 81, passed away October 14, 2023 at Legacy at Savannah Quarters.

The Tattnall County native was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Elliott Durrence and Maggie Merle Tatum Durrence.

Survivors include her husband Otis L. Lowery; children, Brian Kicklighter (Therese), Karen Barber (William), Sharon Reichard (Jason), and Patrick Lowery (Heather); sister, Lou Andruzzi (Louie); brothers, Selby Durrence and Willie Durrence (Holly); 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 12 noon Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
