Sarah Kate Faulk Altman

Rincon – Sarah Kate Faulk Altman, 74, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at her residence.

She was a native of Blackshear, GA, but had lived in Rincon for the past 13 years. She attended Mercer University and Macon City Hospital of Nursing. She enjoyed a long career focusing on Geriatric and Pediatric Nursing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie Jackson Faulk and Janie Cleo Hinson Faulk, and husband, Jacob E. Altman, Sr.

Survivors include her brother, James Ellis Faulk of Martin, GA; son, Richard Milton and wife Pam of Appling, GA; daughter, Jane L. Crews and husband Brian of Blackshear, GA, daughter, Allison Moore and husband Paul of Rincon, GA, daughter Wealthie Anne Jones of Rincon, GA; and son, Ernie Altman of Faulkville, GA; nine grandchildren, (the absolute joys of her life), Nathan DuVall, Taylor Milton, McCall Milton Grady, BJ Crews, Jacob Koshinski, Shelby Milton, Marshall Moore, Schyler Jones, and Alex Milton.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.

Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens in Hinesville, GA.

Remembrances may be given to Baptist Church at Ebenezer, 2401 Ebenezer Rd., Rincon, GA 31326.
