Sarah W. Moore
Guyton – Sarah W. Moore, 90, passed away February 20, 2016 at Lakeview Manor.
The Tattnall County native had lived most of her life in Effingham County. She was a member of the Guyton Christian Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Morgan Williams and Bertha Stubbs Williams; and her husband, J.I. Moore, Jr.
Survivors include her sons, James I. Moore (Nellwin) of Perry and Gary C. Moore (Pam) of Rincon; sister, Dorothy Mae Deloach of Statesboro; brothers, Millard Williams of Swainsboro and David Williams of Guyton; 5 grandchildren, Craig Moore, Dena Alexander (Rick), Jason Moore (Katherine), Christa Gnann (Alan), Tess Smith (Josh); 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Tuesday followed by funeral services at 12 noon in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
Remembrances may be given to Compassionate Care Hospice, 138 Canal Street, Ste. 304, Pooler, GA 31322.
