Mrs. Sharon Cleland, 75, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at the Effingham County Extended Care Facility.  She was born in Toombs County, Georgia and lived most of her life in Port Wentworth, Georgia before moving to Effingham County.  Mama went to the School of Ministry many years at Life Spring Worship Center in Bloomingdale, Georgia.  She was also a lifelong member of Life Spring Worship Center.  She is survived by her brother, Jim Foskey (Gaye Foskey); sister, Jocelyn Glisson (Jessie Glisson); two daughters, Shelley Lowery (Daryl) and Shannon Griffin (Eric); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cleland, and one grandchild, Dahlas Green.  The family will receive friends at Life Spring Worship Center located at 1105 U.S. Highway 80 in Bloomingdale from 3:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.  The memorial service to honor Sharon's life will follow at 4 p.m. in the sanctuary of the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations given to Thomas C.
