Obituary
Bloomingdale- Sharon Smith, 71, left this world to be with her Lord on January 1, 2014. She was welcomed in heaven by her parents, Robert and Alma Sherlock.
She was a lifelong member of South Newington Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. She had been very involved in the United Way and the Pooler Senior Citizens before getting sick. She was loved and respected by anyone that was blessed to have known her.
She left behind her children, Rodney Briggs (Cindy) and Rhonda Cranton (Chris); 9 grandchildren, Lyndi, Rodney, Jr., Whitney, Nikki, Tori, Kelsey, Shelbee, Noah, and Matthew; a sister, Brenda Woodward (Butch); and the father of her children, Henry W. Briggs.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday, January 3, 2014 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Saturday, January 4, 2014 at South Newington Baptist Church.
Interment: Bethel Cemetery
