Mrs. Sharon Williams Stewart, 81, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at her home.

Mrs. Sharon was born in Savannah to the late George Williams and Annie Mae Woods Williams.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. "Bill" Stewart.  She was a member of Alpha United Methodist Church and retired from Guyton Elementary, where she was a secretary, after many years of service.  She will be remembered as the Matriarch of her family and being so generous, but most of all, for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Tracey Stewart, and Jason Stewart; grandchildren, Jessee Stewart, Josie Stewart, and Joey Stewart; great-grandson, Benjamin Holbrook; sisters, Ruth Lewis, Christine Whitley, and Rita Douglas; brothers, Brooks Williams and George Williams; a number of nieces and nephews, and her loving and loyal friend, Gizmo.

The funeral to honor Mrs. Sharon's life will be private.
