Mrs. Sheila Wegmann Broussard, 75, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Hospice Savannah.

Sheila was born in Savannah, GA to the late Theodore J. Wegmann and Regina Hebert Wegmann.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph "Joey" Broussard, Sr., and a sister, Sharon Wegmann Saxon.  She was a member of Westside Christian Church where she served as treasurer.  She retired as Deputy Tax Commissioner after 22 years of service with the Chatham County Tax Commissioner.  She was active with her husband in the Dixieland Cruisers and the Jaycees/Jaycetts.

Survivors include two sons, Richard J. Broussard, Jr. (fiancé-Teresa Ann Bailey Yates) and Paul D. Broussard (fiancé-Sheila Faye Floyd); daughter-in-law, Toni Broussard; grandchildren, Blaine Broussard, Bryce Broussard, and Sydney Marie Molter (Tyler); great-grandson, Ryder Molter; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy Wegmann Northcutt & Ken Northcutt; great aunt, Jaunice Stafford; in-laws, Bobbi Seckinger, Renee Sitton (Larry), and Rhen "Randy" McCorkel (Doris), and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 3 until 4 p.m. at Westside Christian Church.  The memorial service will follow in the sanctuary at 4 p.m.
