Bloomingdale-Mrs. Sherry Lynn Spivey Ross, 48, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 after a long illness.
She was born in Savannah and moved to Rockwall, Texas seven years ago. She was currently attending Fairview Baptist Church in Mesquite, TX, and formerly attended Bible Baptist Church in Savannah. She had previously taught school at Life Spring and she was a cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Wesley Spivey.
Survivors include her husband, Larry W. Ross, Jr.; children, Larry W. Ross, III, and Bethany Ross Reece, and her husband, Josh; granddaughter, Alyss Jolene Ross Reece; parents, Gordon W. & Beth Smith Spivey and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with the burial to follow at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkins County.
