Ms. Sherry Schunck of Port Wentworth, passed away on July 31, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to the late John E. & Elinor Schunck.  Sherry worked with many physicians throughout Chatham County before going to work at Fort Howard in Effingham County as an Occupational Health Nurse.  After retiring from Fort Howard, she went to work at the Target Warehouse.

Preceded in death by her brother, William (Bill) Meadows and nephew, John (John-John) Schunck.  Survivors include her dear friends and caregivers, Marcia Hagy and Cora Gaines; siblings, Yvonne Meadows White (Pete), John Schunck, III (Linda); several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Shag.

The visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the funeral home with the funeral at 7:30 in the chapel of the funeral home.

The graveside funeral and burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Lyons City Cemetery located at 209 N. Jefferson Street in Lyons, GA.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, (stjude.org) or 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
