Shirley Olivia Avera Dominy
Guyton – Shirley Olivia Avera Dominy, 64, passed away February 6, 2016.
The Florida native was a homemaker and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Rincon congregation.
She had her little faults, but Shirley's life on earth, taken altogether, was one worthy of example, and reflected honor upon the church. Through all her trials she had never once forgotten her obligations to her fellow church member, family, children, and her God.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Charles B. Dominy, IV.
Survivors include her husband, Charles B. Dominy, III; children, James Eric Sikes, Jason Matthew Sikes, Clara Elizabeth Sikes Manigault, and James Donald Sikes, II; sister, Kay Carter; step-children, Jennifer Steptoe, Kerstin Morris, and Elizabeth Pare; and 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Rincon congregation.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
