Mrs. Shirley Darlene Hagans, 65, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 18, 2023.

Shirley was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Alton Morrie Kessler, Jr. and Dorothy Marguerite Kessler.  She was a homemaker who loved to cook.  She had a heart for helping people and was very outgoing and friendly.  She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, James Edwin Hagans, Sr.; sons, James Edwin Hagans, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Bradley Keith Hagans (Emily); granddaughters, Lilliana Morgan Hagans, Adalyn Rose Hagans, and Aubrey Ann Hagans; sister, Angela Kessler Screen; brothers, Van Kessler (June), Ronald Kessler (Betty), and Donald Kessler (Jan), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Shirley's life will be on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Lower Lotts Creek Cemetery in Bulloch County.
