Rincon – Shirley Bragg Horton, 75, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Effingham Hospital.
The Chatham County native was a homemaker and lived in Effingham for the past 45 years. She was preceded in death by her parents George O. and Mary Phillips Bragg, husband, William L. Horton, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Survivors include her children, Phil (Nancy) Mastin of Rincon, Matt (Lori) Horton of Rincon, Gary Mastin of Springfield, Travis (Dianne) Horton of Springfield, Barbara (Melvin) Joyner of Rincon, Amy (Billy) Rahn of Rincon, and Melanie (Wayne) Joyner of Springfield; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Edenfield of Rincon; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Graveside funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Rincon Cemetery.
