Appling – Shirley Brown Kelley, 81, formerly of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Shirley was the beloved wife of the late Henry Edward Kelley. She traveled the world with Henry as he served for our country in the US Army for 25 years.
She was a devoted mother of Rose Kelley, Helen Morgan and her husband Eric, Jonnie Lyon and her husband David, Nadene Silva and late husband Richard, and Dian Mead and her husband Peter (Pete); she was the cherished grandmother of Joseph, John, Ashley, Stacey, Ricky, Hunter, Brittany, Josh, Priscilla, Maggie, and Lauren; great-grandmother to Trinity, Kaylee, Skylar, Nolan, Dawson, Natalie, Jenna, Kaden, Josh, Jr., Kaiden, Wyatt, Payton, Madison, and D.J., also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 3rd at the funeral home.
The funeral to honor Mrs. Shirley's life will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th in the chapel of the funeral home with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery. Rev. Kenny Harrelson will be officiating.
