Shirley Ann Riggs, 76, passed away on Thursday at her home.

Shirley enjoyed gardening, porch sitting, word and puzzle games, and lukewarm coffee.  She wasn't fond of sardines or mustard.  She loved a good card game, especially Canasta.  She also had a love for half sandwiches and Pall Mall Blue 100's.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dorris Edwards; siblings, Diane Beasley and Danny Edwards.

Survivors include her children, Kim Lyons (Donald), Billy Hires, and Missy Fields (Andy); brother, Edward Beasley; five grandchildren, Kayla Harris (Phillip), Brandon Lyons (Emily), Marissa Hires and Taylor Hires, Corie Fields; 7 great-grandchildren, Brantley, Riley, Krenson, Hardy, Kimber, Rhett and Brody; one niece, Brandice Edwards; and one nephew, Edward E. Beasley, Jr.

There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 12 – 6 p.m. and you can call Kim or Kayla for details.
