Shirley A. Tuten

Mrs. Shirley A. Tuten, 78, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026 at her home.

Shirley will be missed by her husband of 58 years, Donald J. Tuten; daughters, Tammy Tuten and Donelle “D.J.” Tuten Nickens (Ray); grandchildren, Carly and Waylon; sister, Linda Burke, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Shirley was born in Screven County and had lived in Bloomingdale most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry L. and Mae Skinner McMillan; brothers, Harry McMillan, Jr. and Donny McMillan; sister, Diane McMillan Burke. She will be remembered for being a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.

The graveside funeral and burial to celebrate Shirley’s life will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery located on Highway 80 in Bloomingdale.
