Pooler-Mr. Stanley R. Van Meter, 57, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Stanley was born in Petersburg, West Virginia. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Diana Van Meter; his mother, Annie Ours, and his sister, Cathy.
The visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler.
