Guyton – Stephen Herbert Dickerson, 62, passed away February 5, 2023.

The Effingham County native was a retired pilot for UPS. He also held a helicopter license, was a former US Air Marshall, and was a member of the National Airplane Pilots Association. Stephen was a member of Bethesda Church at Midland, and loved to hunt and shoot guns.

Survivors include his mother, Emma Laurie Dickerson Stregles; brother, Darrin Dickerson (Wendy); nephews, Phillip Dickerson and Brandon Dickerson (Jordan); great-nieces/nephews, River Brooks Dickerson, Allison Dickerson, Atlas Dickerson, and Cleo Dickerson; and close friends, Al Leban and Kris Stafford.

Visitation: 11 am – 12 noon Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Bethesda Church @ Midland.

Funeral: 12 noon Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Bethesda Church @ Midland.

Interment: Church Cemetery
