Bloomingdale-Mr. Steve Allgood, 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at his home.
Steve was born in Owensburg, KY to the late Stanley & Susie Allgood. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Patsy VanHoosen, Catherine Peppers, and Gail Ward. He retired from Movsovitz of Georgia and he enjoyed bowling for over 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Swagert Allgood; children, Penny Combs (Joe), Elaine Mims, Steven Allgood, Stephanie Napier (Keith), Chris Allgood, and Kevin Allgood (Brandi); grandchildren, Jennifer Roulo, Brandon Allgood, Michael Kyriakos, Ciera Combs, Jacob Combs, Jeri Fisher, Lindsey Mims, Satin Phillips, Jonathan Phillips, and Tanner Allgood; great-grandchildren, Emma Roulo, Taylor Roulo, Luke Roulo, and Landon Sullivan; brothers, Jerry Allgood and Fred Parr; sisters, Cheryl Medina, Mary Smith, and Mary Stevens Perks, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to The American Stroke Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, Suite 214, Mission, KS 66202.
