Eden-Steve Taranovich, 67, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a trucking accident in Jasper County, SC.
Steve was born in Harlem, NY and later moved to Georgia after a short service in the Navy. A dedicated truck driver for more than 30 years, Steve was employed with US Foodservice for 24 of those years. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Taranovich, sister, Carol Fuller, brother, Michael Taranovich, and step-father, Salvador LaRosa. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing poker.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Taranovich; sons, Joseph, Thomas, and Steve Taranovich, Jr.; mother, Angelina LaRosa; sister and brother-in-law, Angela & Charles Beasley; brother and sister-in-law, David & Diane Friedberg, and a number of nieces and nephews
The visitation will be on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
