Obituary
Pooler-Mr. Steven D. Dodge, 63, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after a long illness.
Steve was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late George W., Sr. & Doris Dodge. He grew up in Atlanta and loved GA Tech. He retired after 20 years of service as a Navy Commander, and later worked with GA Southern University and Gulfstream. He was a member of Savannah Christian Church where he was a group leader and volunteer. He also volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and his beloved dog "Baby".
Survivors include his wife, Anne G. Dodge; son and daughter-in-law, Brian Forrest Dodge & Rachael, and their children, Russell and Leah Dodge; sons, John Devlin Dodge, and Kevin W. Dodge.
The memorial service will be on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.
The graveside funeral and burial will take place at a later date at Arlington Memorial Cemetery in Sandy Springs.
