Steven J. Trussell, 58, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Candler Hospital.

Steven was born in Columbus, Mississippi and was employed with the ILA 2046.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He was a member of the 17 South Gun Club and the Chain Gang Hunting Club.  He will be remembered for his big and kind heart, for being soft spoken, and for being reserved, but with a fun-loving personality.

Survivors include his daughters, Katelyn Womble (Caleb) and Bayleigh Trussell; grandchildren, Noah, Finnley, and Shepherd; parents, Johnny and Sarah Trussell; brother, James Trussell (Gayle); fiancé, Eva Costin, and his special friends, Michael and Elizabeth Hagy.

The visitation will be on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Steven's wishes were to be cremated.
