Susan Morton Foote

Guyton- Susan Morton Foote, 41, born June 1, 1969, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2011at her home after a long illness.

The Screven County native was an active member of Little Ogeechee Baptist Church in Oliver. She worked for Pineland Mental Health for several years until she started her career as a nurse for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Bennie Foote of Guyton; sons, Eric McGlamery of Statesboro and Shawn McGlamery of Portal; a daughter, Catherine Hill of Sheffield, AL; sisters, Tammy Morgan and Judy M. Grovenstein of Sylvania, Sherry Morton Comerford of Statesboro, and Charlene Sarr of Arkansas; step-children, Dewayne Foote, Janice Foote, Linda Gail Holloway, and Debbie Freeman; two grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and several very close friends.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 pm Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church.

Burial: Church Cemetery.
