Susan Carol Giddens (Amory) passed away on January 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Candler Medical Hospital in Savannah Georgia. At the age of 69.  She is preceded in death by her parents Harold Amory, Angustia Amory, and her daughter in law Janice Slingluff.  She was a member of the Savannah First Seventh-day Adventist Church.  She is survived by her loving husband James A. Giddens along with her devoted children, Tammy Young, Rickey Slingluff, Kimberly Rodgers, Jennifer Kimbell, Jeffery Giddens; her son-in-law's; Brandon Rodgers, Terry Kimbell. Her daughter-in-law; Kasey Giddens; her adoring grandkids, Matthew and Cecilia Grizzard, Madison Young, Abbey and Sarah Slingluff, Devin, Alyssa, Grayson and Braxton Rodgers, Alexander Rodriguez, Kaleb, and Ariana Mills, Madison Kimbell, Emma Giddens; Great Grandkid, Emma McKinney. Her siblings; Noel Amory, Hattie Dovich, Herbert Amory, Harold Amory, Ken Amory, and Lester Amory; many-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. As well as countless other's lives, she touched.  The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler.  All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place including the wearing of masks (Chatham County Mandate).  The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at the Savannah First Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 50 Godley Way, Savannah, GA.
