Susan Mahfet

Mrs. Susan Mahfet, 76, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at her home.

Susan will be missed by her husband, Dan Mahfet; son, Brad Noel (Leah); brother, George McCormack; step-son, Danny Mahfet (Alice); step-daughter, Mary Anne Hogan (Jerry); step-grandchildren, Ellen Ebberwein (Patrick), Ross Hogan, Daniel Joseph Mahfet, Jr., and Grace Mahfet; step-great-grandchildren, Teddy and Emma Bates Ebberwein.

Susan was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She was formerly employed with All Saints Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and was famous for her cinnamon rolls. She loved animals, crossword puzzles, reading and traveling. She especially loved cruises. She loved her family and will be missed. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 37 years, Lester John Noel; parents, Andrew and Adele Johnston McCormack; siblings, John McCormack, Dennis McCormack, and Patricia McCormack, as well as a great friend, and Dan’s first wife, Mary Anne Mahfet.

The visitation will be on Friday, August 14, 2026 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Their will be a Rosary Service to follow at 7 p.m.

The funeral mass will be on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christ Catholic Church located at 1745 Benton Boulevard, Savannah, Georgia.

The graveside funeral and burial will be on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Grandview Memorial Park located at 401 Hollis Lakes Road in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
