Mrs. Susie Mae Evans, 69, of Bloomingdale, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe S. Rainey, Sr. and Ethel L. Mock, and her husband of 50 plus years, Robert E. Evans, Sr. She attended Robert W. Groves High School. Susie retired from Noritake China Warehouse in Port Wentworth after 25 years of service. She is survived by her only son, Robert E. "Bobby" Evans, Jr.; sisters, Linda (Wayne) Mosley, Margie (David) Hudson, Mary (Miles) Roberds, Dollie (Wayne) Reed, and May (Troy) Wiley; brothers, Joe S. Rainey, Jr. and Howard (Belinda) Rainey. The visitation will be on Wednesday from 12 until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
