Rincon – Susie Mingledorff Mills, 74, passed away June 28, 2025.

The Effingham County native was a member of the Clyo Community Church.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, and was a very humorous lady.  She retired from the medical records field.  She loved her family dearly and was especially proud to be a grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Florrie Edwards Mingledorff; and her husband, Jesse David Mills.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Pike (Sonny); son, Jeffrey Mills (Crystal); grandchildren, Michelle Mills, Shelby Townsend (Scott), Leigh Smith, Tiffani Mills (Sully Greer), Dustin Mills (Easton Burwell), and Joe Harrelson (Caley); great-grandchildren, Jonathan Mills, Scout Douglas, Tommy Townsend, and Grayson Harrelson; sister, Brenda Geiger; brothers, Tommy Mingledorff (Julia) and Clifford Mingledorff (Helen); and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Nick Pumfrey officiating.
