Pooler-Mrs. Susie V. Swagert, 84, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010.

Mrs. Susie was born in Riceboro, GA and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death
by her parents, Arthur & Jincy Hope, her husband, Granville Louie Swagert, a son,
Robert Swagert and a grandson, Jerry "Bubba" Swagert. She was a charter member of
Solid Rock Baptist Church and The Sanctuary and was currently attending Westside
Christian Church.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Marcia) Swagert of Pooler, Chuck (Cathy) Swagert of
Wilmington Island and Larry (Kay) Swagert of Wilmington Island; daughters, Faye
(Steve) Allgood of Bloomingdale, Marlene (Larry) Patton of Bloomingdale and Stephanie
(Keith) Napier of Pooler; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 4
great-great-grandchildren and several cousins.

The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Mrs. Swagert's life will be at 12 noon on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street in Savannah. The pallbearers will be Robert Swagert, Adam Swagert, Chris Allgood, Brian Swagert, Curtis Swagert, Kevin Allgood and Jonathan Phillips
