Bloomingdale-Mrs. Sybil Arnold, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at
her home.

Mrs. Arnold was born in Greenville, SC and had lived in Bloomingdale since 1966. She
was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Arnold. Mrs. Arnold was a member of
the Bloomingdale First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday
School Class and the W.M.U. She retired from Westview Nursing Home where she was
an L.P.N.

Survivors include her children, Phil & Nancy Emory, Kathy Emory, Connie & Steve
Alperstein, Stanley & Judy Arnold, Chris Arnold (Adrian), David Arnold, Joey Emory
and Tammy Ganas; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two nieces and one
nephew.

The visitation for Mrs. Arnold will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the
Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel in Pooler.

The funeral to honor Mrs. Arnold's life will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2009 at
the Bloomingdale First Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Bailey officiating. Burial
will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
