Ms. Sybil Hartley Wilson
Pooler-Ms. Sybil Hartley Wilson, 86, died on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at her home.
She was born in Washington County to the late Arlie Linton Hartley and Sallie Lindsey
Hartley. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and had taught at Armstrong
College. She was a registered nurse and worked at Candler-Telfair Hospital. She retired
from Georgia Regional Hospital in December of 1989. She served her country in the U.S.
Navy and was a member of the Waves. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Liz
Lou Lavender and brothers, Doug and A.L. Hartley.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Louise Wilson of Pooler; son, Charles Cecil
Wilson, III of Brooklet; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynne Ulin, Jason Jaunezz Ulin, Jessica
Leigh Ulin and Jerrod O'Neal Ulin; great-granddaughter, Courtney Shay Ulin; brothers,
Rufus Hartley of Washington County and Lambeth "Buddy" Hartley of Atlanta; sister,
Arlene Hartley of Washington County; sister-in-law, Avis Hartley of Lyons and a number
of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road.
