Sybil Ann Sanders Lindner was called to her final rest from Coral Springs, Florida on Tuesday July 21,2026.
She was the daughter of Chudley Sanders and Lila Mae Carroll Sanders. Her late brother was Tommy E Sanders. She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, William Walter Lindner and their daughter Katina Lindner Furniz. They reside in Coral Springs, FL.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Jenny Lindner Tarrant reside in Boone, NC, Nikki Sanders reside in Thornton, CO, Tommy "Chip" Sanders Jr. reside in Rincon, GA. Jeffrey Sanders reside in Rincon, GA.
She is also survived by Grand nieces and Grand nephews, Jade English reside in Rincon, GA, Kenzie Kersey reside in Springfield, GA, Brenton Sanders reside in Savannah, GA, Kason T Sanders reside in Rincon, GA, Kinsley L Sanders reside in Rincon, GA, Aunt Margret Miley Bryson reside in SC, and Uncle Jack Sanders Rincon, GA. - In the local area first cousins Veronica Stokes Howard reside in Newington, GA, Linda Stokes Davis, Jess Stokes reside in Newington, GA, Sudale Sanders Ambrose reside in Rincon, GA, Myrtle Sanders, Arthur Sanders, Jackie Sanders Newington, GA, Cynthia Sanders Cleghorn reside in Brenton, AR, Shane Sanders reside in Newington, GA.
Sybil Ann’s mother, Lila Mae Carroll Sanders, her late sister Daisy Carroll DeLoach, her daughter Gwen Deloach Ward, and her daughter Kerri Reed Haseleden reside in SC.
Sybil was an avid reader and in her early years she wanted to be a psychiatrist. She read a lot of detective and mystery paperback novels intrigued by the methods used to solve the crimes that were actually true to the forensic methods used in crime laboratories today. She also loved to sew and she was good at designing outfits.
She was a graduate of Effingham County High School. 1964
After high school Ann was employed in several clerical positions around Savannah. She assisted the accountants in keeping financial records and she was mentally quick to deal with business issues. After she married Bill Lindner her business skills kept the charter fishing business records in order.
A celebration of her life will be held at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons’ Effingham Chapel 2460 Highway 21 S in Rincon, GA on Saturday, August 8, 2026

The service will begin at 10:00 am with a family visitation following.
Dinner for family and friends will be served at Little Ogeechee Baptist Church, 225 Old Louisville Rd, Oliver, GA, US, 30449.
