Savannah-Mr. Sylvester Lamb, Jr., 81, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his home.
Mr. Lamb was born in Twin City to the late Sylvester Lamb, Sr. & Rhetta Doyle Lamb. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Lamb. He retired from G.B. King Construction Company, and enjoyed his dogs, gardening, woodworking, going to the mountains, and country living.
Survivors include his children, Brenda Thompson (deceased husband, Jimmy), and Sheryl Harrelson (deceased husband, Allen, Sr.); grandchildren, Casey Harrelson, Caroline Sexton (Brad), Allen Harrelson, Jr., Benjamin Thompson (Monique), and Jacob Thompson; great-grandchildren, Evan Sexton, Jackson Sexton, McKinley Harrelson, and Emma Jackson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Wilson, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
