Rincon – Tammy Denise Bennett Burnsed, 53, passed away December 12, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Savannah and lived in Rincon for many years.  She was a homemaker, loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren and spending time with them.  She enjoyed Hallmark movies and making sweet tea.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mandi Allen; mother, Lenice Oglesby Burris; father, Bobby Bennett; step-mother, Alice Bennett; step-sister, Monique Rogers; and step-brother, Austin "Buddy" Rogers.

Survivors include her husband, Corbin Burnsed; children, Junior Burnsed (Autumn), Madison Burnsed (Victoria), Courtney Saxon (Zack), Kayla Burnsed, Katelyn Hammock (Blake), and Nathan Burnsed; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Melody Moore (Tom); brothers, Tony Bennett (Jill) and Stevie Bennett (Rebecca); several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, December 16, 2023 at  Rincon Global Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 12 noon.
