Rincon – Teresa Joy Ann Dickey Smith, 73, passed away January 14, 2026 at St. Jospeh's Hospital.

The Bulloch County native was a retired Legal Assistant having been a resident of Richmond Hill for 44 years before moving to Rincon.  She enjoyed making miniatures and crafting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Dickey, Jr. and Elmira Finch Dickey, and brother, Kenneth Dickey.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Lynn Smith; granddaughter, Sophia Ann Smith; brothers, George Dickey (Debra Moore) and Raymond Dickey (Stacey); sister-in-law, Sandra Dickey; nieces and nephews, Dean Dickey, Timmy Dickey, Jennifer Scholl, Kimberly A. Rollins, Ronnie Dickey, and Ryan Dickey; a number of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the funeral home chapel.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Portal Cemetery.
