Teresa Gay Chiariello, 65, of Rincon, GA, passed away peacefully in her home.

She was born August 12th, 1960 in Huntsville, AL. She is preceded in death by her father, William ("Bill") G. Whatley and her brother, William ("Buddy") Whatley.

Teresa, known as Gay to her friends and family, was a woman of many talents and passions. She's had several careers as an accountant, a legal assistant, and a respected radiographer in the Savannah, GA region for over 30 years. Her love of plants and animals were only dwarfed by the love she had for God and her family, whom she expressed admiration for daily.

She is survived by her mother, Maryanne Eason Whatley; sons Joseph (Christina) Chiariello, Andrew Chiariello, and Nicholas Chiariello; grandchildren Alex Chiariello and Cora Chiariello.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the funeral home chapel followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.

Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Coastal Pet Rescue, 7430 Thomas Ave., Savannah, GA 31406.
