Teresa Ann Smith

Rincon – Teresa Ann Smith, 67, passed away on June 14, 2026 at her residence.

The Effingham County native was a cardiac nurse that loved reading, studying, and learning. She leaned on her faith throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jonas and Mary Smith.

She is survived by her brothers, Pete Smith and Craig Smith (Terri); a niece, Laura Thompson (Scott); a nephew, Steven Smith (Savannah); great-nieces/nephews, Madilynn, Mallory, and McCoy Thompson, Mason and Landon Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 11-12 Noon Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 12 Noon Wednesday, June 17, 2026 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Rincon Cemetery
