Rincon – Terry Zingle Baker, 55, passed away August 2, 2022 at Effingham Hospital.

Terry was born on Keesler AFB, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and he spent most of his childhood on Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland; moving with his family to Savannah in 1978.

He married the love of his life, Shawn Lynes on August 8, 1998.  Two of his proudest moments were the birth of his daughters.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Rincon.  He was a longtime employee of Kaufman Supply and N.F.I.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie Zingle Baker and Sandra Marilyn Bacot Baker.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Shawn Lynes Baker; daughters, Abbey Christine Baker and Sierra Mackenzie Baker; siblings, Cindy Baker Pinholster (Scott), Margie Baker Canady (Ronald), and Gary Lawrence Baker (Dutchen); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Rincon followed by memorial services at 10:30 a.m.
