Mr. Terry Melvin McGowan, 72, of Eden, GA, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

He was born in Guyton, GA and was preceded in death by his father, David McGowan, a daughter, Angela Marie Albertini, and a sister, Pamela Smith.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a staunch southerner.  He retired from Ikon and attended Powers Baptist Church.  He was an avid gardener, love the outdoors, but will be remembered most for being a family man.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Diane McGowan; children, Brian Allen McGowan, Teresa Ellen Delacurz, and Elizabeth Ann Albertini; grandchildren, William Jarred Moore, Baylee Patience Hadlock, Gabriella Cenobia Delacurz, Alvaro Delacurz, Jr., Leanne McGowan, Brianne McGowan, Noah Allen McGowan, Raven Sapp, and Jerrica Sapp; great-grandson, Malik Davis, Jr.; mother, Nellie McGowan; his twin brother, Perry McGowan, brothers, Ross McGowan and Russ McGowan; sister, Suzanne Aviles, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The family has chosen cremation and the time and date for the memorial service will be announced at a later date.
