Thelma Faye Easterling McMullen
Port Wentworth –Thelma Faye Easterling McMullen, 88, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Magnolia Manor on Saint Simons Island.
The Liberty County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Wentworth and retired from Savannah Sugar Refinery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Thelma Opal Rogers Easterling; husband, Alfred S. McMullen; son, John Daniel McMullen; grandson, John Patrick McMullen; and great-granddaughter, Meredith Wagner.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Kelly McMullen (Daniel) Wagner; great-grandchildren, Madison & Caroline Wagner all of Woodbine; daughter-in-law, Marsha McMullen of Irmo, SC; grandson, George Michael (Jamie) Washburn; great-grandchildren, Michaela & Maxwell Washburn all of Lexington, SC; lifelong friend, Penny Maestretti of Pooler; sisters, Barbara (Joe) Brackett, Shirley (Tom) Crick, Martha (Jimmy) Hutchinson; brothers, Ronald (Sharon) Easterling, Russell, Ottie, and Billy Easterling; caregiver, Carolyn Stevens; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey.
