Mrs. Thelma Gross, 85, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Hospice Savannah.
Thelma was born in Millen, Georgia and had lived here for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Rosalie Williams Boone, her husband, Bob Gross, her son, L.J. Morris. She was a waitress for many years at Denny's, was an avid reader, and a Kansas City Chiefs fan. She will be remembered for being a wonderful mother and for enjoying life and people.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Skolweck and Elaine Shea; grandson, Alan Skolweck; granddaughters, April Shea and Danielle Euler; sister, Katie Trumpour; brothers, Terrell Boone and George Boone, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The service to honor Thelma's life will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
