Pooler-Mrs. Thelma Morgan Mack, 80, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at The Place at Pooler.
Mrs. Mack was born on April 17, 1935 in Collins, GA, and was raised in Cobbtown, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Robert L. Mack; her mother, Lucille Harvey Morgan; her father Louis Morgan, and mother, Maudeena Morgan, and brother, David Morgan. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Church of God, and the oldest of 12 children. She retired from GA Pacific after 30 years of service, was a member of the Pooler Senior Citizens, and the Red Hats.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda (Wayne) Whitley, and Michelle Mack Green; sons, Robert Michael (Brenda) Mack, and Steven Henry Mack; grandchildren, Heather (Stephen Leonard) Jones, Wayne Whitley, Jr., Waylon Whitley, Stacey (Jon) Kicklighter, Leslie (Kyle) Turner, Jonathan (Amanda) Mack, Maegan Mack, Aaron Greene, Austin Greene; great-grandchildren, Tyler Jones, Amber Jones, Bryce Kicklighter, Jillian Kicklighter, Kagen Turner, and Kannon Turner; sisters, Joyce Driggers, Lois Asbridge, Marti Lenhart, and Patsy Martin; brothers, James, David, John, Jimmy, Ronny, and Donny Morgan, as well as lot of other family members and friends.
The visitation will be on Monday (today) from 10-11 a.m. at the Trinity Church of God located at 2202 U.S. Hwy. 80 W. in Garden City with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m.
The graveside funeral and burial will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
