Savannah-Mrs. Theresa Smithey Scruggs, 55, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013.
Theresa grew up in Rincon and was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Edward Smithey.
Survivors include her husband, Mark W. Scruggs; children, Alan Craig Joiner, Kelly Lynn Sims Reid and Heather Dawn Sims Jennings; grandchildren, Courtney and Daniel Jennings, Luke Reid and Colton Joiner; mother, Rose Belk Rahn; brother and sister-in-law, Gregory Edward & Beverly Smithey and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
