Obituary
Port Wentworth-Mr. Thomas Chester, 66, passed away on Saturday.
Mr. Thomas was born in Cobbtown to the late Buddie & Helen Chester. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Diane Chester and two brothers, Robert Chester and Donald Chester. He attended St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Thunderbolt and retired from Gulfstream.
Survivors include his wife, Kristen A. Chester of Port Wentworth; sisters, Frances Young of Statesboro, Dorothy Johnson of Guyton, Kaye Goff of Uvalda, Gail Russell of Kentucky, Brenda Kersey of Metter and Karen Chester of Statesboro; brother-in-law, Michael B. Keenan of Ellabell and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
