Rincon – Thomas Alan Hamilton, 49, passed away April 22, 2023 at Effingham Hospital.

The Effingham native had worked for many years at Gulfstream. He loved the outdoors, kayaking, and four-wheeling. Tommy was a great husband, dad & Pop.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hamilton; his parents, Billy & Nina Hamilton; and sister, Billie Joann Hamilton.

Survivors include his children, Jenny Hamilton (Justin Smith), Abby Hamilton (Hayden Powell), and Brittney Hamilton (Cadillac Sheets); grandchildren, Thomas Slade Smith, Jaxson Alan Kole Sheets, and Maverick James Sheets; sisters, Tina Childers (Timmy) and Cheryl Humbert; brothers, Art Childers and Mickey Hamilton (Debbie); and many friends and family.

Services will be private.
