Springfield– Thomas H. Haralson, 85, passed away April 6, 2021 at East Georgia Regional Hospital.

The Sylvester, GA native was a retired switchman with Southern Railroad and was in the first graduating class of Savannah Christian School. Thomas loved his family, but especially his wife of 63 years, Miriam.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam S. Haralson; children, Joy Haralson, Tommy Haralson (Teresa), and Jill Shuman (Dennis); grandchildren, Cory Shuman (Julia), Christina Haralson (Hao), Jillane Tucker (Daniel), T.J. Haralson, Alex Haralson, Brent Haralson, and Miriam Haralson; great-grandchildren, Woods, Wilkes, and William Tucker, and Madelyn and Oliver Phan.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, April 8, 2021 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Friday, April 9, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens
