Mr. Thomas Steve Harris, Sr., 71, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Friday, August 27 ^th at Candler Hospital.

He was born January 15, 1950 in Cedar Crossing, GA but lived most of his life in Pooler, GA.  He retired from Georgia Power after many years of service.  He was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple.  He was preceded in death by his parents, T.W. and Louise Harris, a grandson, Jack, and a sister, Barbara Kay.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Harris; children, Jennifer Holbrook, Eve Feider, and Thomas Steve Harris, Jr; grandchildren, Charlie, Caleb, Jacob, Lila and Shiloh; sister, Patricia Parrish Jordan, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The visitation will be on Saturday, September 4 ^th from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
