Bloomingdale-Mr. Thomas W. "Tommy" Mullins, 70, passed away on Tuesday, October
13, 2009 at Hospice Savannah after a long illness.
Mr. Tommy was born in Johnson City, TN to the late John Wesley & Mary Symons
Mullins. He grew up in Pooler and served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from
Union Camp and Cameron & Barkley and he enjoyed working in his yard. He was also
preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary P. Burns and his sister, Betsy Defilippis.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Mullins of Bloomingdale; children, Mark L. (Donna)
Burns of Savannah, Terri L. Rush of Pembroke and Sherry L. Roberts of Bloomingdale;
grandchildren, Maddison Gracen, Brian Allen Gracen, Eric Nelson, Maggie Burns and
Emily Burns; brother, Jake (Jackie) Mullins of Richmond Hill; mother-in-law, Bessie
Mae Lovell of Bloomingdale and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home.
