Timothy Martin Uzupan

Springfield- Timothy Martin "Pooper" "Doctor of Love" "Big Uza" "Oz" "Rooster" Uzupan, 56, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at his home.

The New Jersey native was retired from Strickland Oil Company. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield, where he had served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He also had served on the Springfield City Council and the Effingham County Planning Board.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Saxon Uzupan; daughter, Amelia Paige Uzupan; sister, Amy Monaco (Jeffrey); brother, Mark Uzupan (Sindy); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 9:30 – 10:45 am Friday, March 6, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.

Memorial Service: 11 am Friday, March 6, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Springfield.
