Bloomingdale-Mr. Tom W. Crosby, 89, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Tom lived in Bloomingdale for 45 years, loved to travel and was the former owner/operator of Crosby's Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by 2 step-sons, Brian K. Morgan and Stan L. Morgan; brothers, Jack Tracy, Vernon Sikes, and B.J. Crosby; sisters, Rubylee Newman, Maggiemae Curby and Marysue.
Survivors include his loving wife of 32 years, Earline P. Crosby of Bloomingdale; step-daughter, Jan L. Morgan of Bloomingdale; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorthia Saffle of Redoak, TX; brother, Dhron Sikes of Folkston, GA and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale. Mr. Oscar Padgett will officiate and the pallbearers will be Jason Strickland, Wendell Strickland, Nick Burchfield, Keith Noble, Joshua Noble, Morgan Gay and Wes Strickland.
